Berwick United Mens 1st Team show Guts, Skill and Determination!

This is all that can be said about this team that has just played four games in fifteen days.

August 7th

Berwick United play Monbulk who are top of Division 1 at home and come back from one nil down to earn a point with a 1-1 draw.

August 14th

Berwick United play Knox Force who are now top of Division 1 at Knox and come away with a hard fought 1-0 win.

August 18th

Berwick United play Bayswater Strikers who are now top of Division 1 on neutral ground and are unlucky to come away with a 1-0 loss.

August 21st

Berwick United play Donvale Cannons who are mid table at home and fight hard once more for a 2-1 win.

The above games were played by a team that has bonded together this year and the games above just show how much character these boys have and their will to do the club proud can not be questioned. These games were played by a group of players who were tired , sore and injured and also having lost their Captain against Knox they all hung together to show what this team is all about.

This playing group has lost only one match in the past fourteen which is an outstanding effort.

Lawrie and I are proud to be associated with such a dedicated group of players and this team will be a team to push for the Premiership in 2011.
